This is a new limited edition vinyl record of the album Don’t Be Afraid by Australian singer-songwriter, Carla Geneve. This album was first released in 2025 and this is a in indie-exclusive pressing on powder pink vinyl.
Carla Geneve is a seven-time WAM Song of the Year winner, a Vanda and Young Global Songwriting Prize recipient, and a live powerhouse who has shared stages with Cat Power, Kurt Vile, Belle and Sebastian, Julia Jacklin, and most recently Tyler Childers during his 2025 Australian tour. Whether playing festivals like Laneway and Falls, or silencing a room with just her voice and guitar, Carla Geneve invites you into her world with a rare kind of grace. Bruised, beautiful, and brilliantly real.
The latest album Don’t Be Afraid deepens her trajectory. Inspired by Seamus Heaney’s final words, it is a meditation on fear, compassion, and empathy. Written in a time of quiet stability and brought to life on a second-hand piano, the songs find strength in softness and clarity.
